Colour for Living is a British interior design partnership, based in Abu Dhabi & Muscat and founded in 2021.

Our Approach

As lifelong lovers of design, we are fascinated by the way colour is experienced in the world and how it affects us all in uniquely personal ways. We also believe that beautiful interiors can really enhance and transform the way we live...

Our aim is to deeply understand how colour contributes to the ways our clients feel and function within a space and to use this as the anchor for creating uplifting interiors that reflect their personal style and how they live.

We have carefully built a network of trusted, specialist suppliers and craftsmen and alongside interior design training, our prior experience in events and fine art ensures seamless end to end project management to suit any budget.

Meet Laura

Originally from Devon, England, and with 15+ years creative experience in fine art, operations management and marketing, Laura has an MA (Hons) in Art History from St Andrews University and studied figurative art at the classical atelier school, London Fine Art Studios. She has gone on study Interior Design at The Designer's Studio, Dubai and the National Design Academy, UK.

In 2017, Laura's parents built an innovative house that was featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs, an experience that inspired her career progression into the world of interiors. She lives in Muscat with her husband and three children.

Meet Lucy

Lucy has lived in Abu Dhabi for 15 years and is originally from London. With an extensive background in corporate events, she changed careers after having her three daughters and hasn't looked back. Lucy's operational experience in the world of events, combined with her passion for pattern and print means she is able to project manage with impeccable attention to detail.

Known for her love of colour, both bright and soft, she has relished putting her skills to task in a wide range of residential and commercial projects across the UAE.
